The guy in the best position in the sport right now...

    It's Ricky Hatton.

    I'll tell you why.

He has two major fights that he can take...

    vs. Marquez (huge moneymaker)

vs. winner of De La Hoya/Pacquiao (GIGANTIC moneymaker)

The second one is particularly intriguing. Either he gets to fight the dominating P4P #1 guy who just knocked off a guy who is about a million pounds heavier than him, or he beats an old legend who just reenergized his career by beating the P4P #1...

    Incredible.

Marquez can bring him good money but it's not a huge fight for him.

The guy in the best position has been and still is DLH IMO.

I guess what makes Ricky on top of Oscar right now, to me, is that he has a bunch of fights available to him where he is the smaller draw... Oscar will always be the bigger draw in every fight, so he is the one giving the opportunity.

      Ricky HAS the opportunities.

I would still say DLH. Everyone wants to fight him.

And if he doesn't fight? He still makes millions.

I'm just looking at it from a financial standpoint, I can see what you're saying.

I think on the Mayweather-Mosley prime matchup, he picked Shane. I say PBF wins.

Nope. The man in the catbird seat goes by the name of Floyd Mayweather jr.

But he can't even get good seats at a Showtime boxing event.

Yup, that's what we disagree on.
