Need some help (FTS boxing videos)

A while back a user whom I can't remember and I were discussing fight collections on DVDm and he suggested http://www.ftsboxingvideos.com . I think it was hungryherbert but I'm not positive.

Anyway, I need some help regarding the actual career sets and fight DVD's they sell.

I'm wondering how the presentation is on the DVDs, such as if each DVD case has an insert, if they have a collective box set, if the DVD's have printed labels or are just blank burned DVD's, who does the commentary, etc....

I know it's a lot of questions but I'm honestly considering buying and I want to have them answered before I do. I don't want to jump the gun, and pay $60 for a career set and end up with 8 crappy looking burned DVD's I could've made myself for a 5th of the money.

I get mine from boxingwholesale.com I have Miguel Cotto and Salvador Sanchez' career sets..they come in the same lil swivel you get on blanks..and the covers of the actual DVD's are the boxer's picture..I've had good experience with them..and will soon buy Mayweather jr's career..

p.s. it'll tell you the quality of the fights on a scale from 1-10..good luck!

How are boxingjunkies.com sets? They seem to have some really good deals like 2 career for 60 or something like that I think.

I previously got my DVDs from TysonJones, a member here, his stuff was top notch.

Are you overall satisfied with the quality of the fights and the overall presentation of the package?

I got the floyd mayeather set from him. They came in sleeves and they are blank discs with the name of the fight listed on it (or if there is more then 1 fight there is a "Mayweather 1" written on it and it has a bunch of fights).

I think it has like 37 of his 39 fights (missing two of his really early ones), but the quality of the fights itself is really good.

Ive bought from everybody. If you want covers and are willing to pay alot of $ I would suggest customizedvds.com. They dont print on the dvds and most dvds I ordered from there come scratched cause they fall out of the case during shipment but the overall quality of the fights is very nice . Personally have so many career sets covers and artwork are usless to me as they take up too much space. I have many binders full of discs. Boxingjunkies seemed good at first but they say all the sets are motion menus and have chaptered rounds which is far from the truth, they actaully guarantee it but most sets I have from there have crappy menus and no chapters while some are actually pretty decent. They just copy other peoples sets it seems for a quick buck. Most places you will find sell dvds in those white sleeves with the fight printed on them and that suits me just fine. FTS I suggested to hungryherbert a while back cause they seem to actually make thier own sets with nice menus and are cheap with nice quality. He posted some screenshots in one of his threads of a Hopkins set I think. SO overall if you need cases go to customizedvds if not I suggest FTS. Hope all this crap helps.

Also keep in mind ANY place you buy from it will be a burned disc. I care more about the content of the dvd rather than if the actual disc itself looks pretty but thats just my preference, again hope this helps.

                  Don't use FTS Boxing!

                  Hey guys,

I asked my wife to get me some collections from FTS Boxing for x-mas. After purchaisng, the account was charged right away. 3 weeks went by and no DVD's. The website has no phone number or address, only an e-mail that you can write to all day with no responses. Only after complaining to Paypal, did the dvd's arrive almost a month later, thrown in a manilla envelope with no padding. It must be a kid selling DVD's from his Mom's basement. The Dvd's also had trouble playing at certain points on my Dvd player- like in rounds 9 & 10 of Gatti Vs. Ward...very unhappy with these people. Please don't get burned by them.
