  • Answer These 3 Hatton Fight Questions

1- If Pac were to beat Oscar and signed to fight Hatton then at what weight do you think the fight should take place? Obviously its a better fight at 140 because they would both be better at that weight but I think it should take place at WW because of future opponents. 1st off both guys are still pretty big so they walk around over 147 anyways. 2nd, if Oscar won then Hatton would have to go to WW to fight him. 3rd is there arent any big fights at 140 anyways. 4th and most important is that if Pac beats both guys then Floyd may return to fight him and that would be at WW so why not just stay there for the Hatton fight so you can get more use to it?

2- One fight I would love to see at 140 is Hatton-Bradley. I dont think no one could beat Hatton at that weight except for Pac, Zab, and Bradley. Im not saying they would win but there the only 3 with a chance. We already talked about Pac and I dont think anyone is really thrilled to see Zab anymore, even at 140 until he gets some big wins. That leaves Bradley. I think he is a right hand version of Zab except he is much more fundemenatly sound. I dont think you will see that fight anytime soon because Bradley is a big threat and Hatton has other big money fights out there but that would be an awesome fight and we know that Bradley would have no problem going to England to make it happened.

3- I think everyone agrees that Hatton shouldnt really fight anyone at WW except for maybe Floyd, Pac, and Oscar but what about Berto? He's talented but he's still pretty young & raw. Hatton may not have looked like a stud against Collazo but Collazo is a darn good fighter so I think thats a very credible win. Thats why I ask do you guys think Hatton could beat Berto at WW?

    1. 140.

    2. Is that a question? I wouldn't mind seeing Hatton-Bradley though, it's a good fight.

    3. Hatton shouldn't go back up to welterweight, but he will for DLH. I'm not sure if he beats Berto, even at this stage, 147 is not the weight for him.

          1. Ricky can't go below 140 in my opinion so it has to be at 140.

          2. Bradley is too inexperianced and has only 1 name on his record, on the plus side he would sell ticket on both sides of the pond due to beating witter. Zab just isn't good enough to mix in Elite company so no. the fight for me is the winner of Holt/Torres that would give Bradley time to fight someone like Kotelnik or Malinaggi and then face Hatton for the unified LWW in 12 months.

          3. Hatton should stay away from 147 for at least 2 more fights and then fight whomever is the top WW as a finale, retire win or lose.

I'm sure that Berto would DOMINATE Ricky .......Ricky is CUSTOM MADE for a Berto

Hatton should only fight to defend his belt at 140. That's clearly his weight. I seriously doubt we'll see him at 147 again. He'll fight anybody at 140. There's your answer.

Stylistically Berto presents a lot of problems for Hatton and 147 is the wrong weight for Hatton so yeah, Berto would probably be the favorite to me but Hatton's experience and pressure could be too much for a young, untested fighter like Berto, you never know.

true berto is inexperience, but he's to strong for hatton to muscle and he's as fast if not faster than hatton.
