How Hatton fought tonight was legal...that's how your supposed to fight; within the boxing rules.
inside fighting where you lean in and if you get tangled you're advised to box out of it.

in the cortez fight mayweather grabbed hold of hatton so cortez would break them up, cortez duely did so, mayweather got no warning

I'm for inside fighting but I'm not for that vintage style of grappling, holding and hitting, etc. Clinching for short rest is OK.

Floyd did that on puropse: Floyd wanted to dictate the terms against Ricky. You see, if you want to get rid of the holding/clinching/holding and hitting, you keep doing it over and over until the ref gets fed up.
If one fighter does it, the ref may let it go, however; have two fighters doing it and it gets annoying/boring.

I was actually surprised Cortez allowed it to continue and just kept breaking them up. They both should have been warned and told not to do it or you get a point deducted. Floyd would have stopped for sure because he doesn't fight like that...I think that was his intention from the start.

Inside fighting to me is Frazier.

Hatton wins every second of every round, and the judging panel of Joe Cortez, Joe Cortez and Joe Cortez unanimously award Mayweather the decision 120-108.

Hey Weebler, shut the **** up.

Hatton will get stopped again by Mayweather.

And Weebler your score card is a joke. Mayweather won every round pretty much. Watch the 1st round again, he was landing BOMBS on Hatton even in that round. Hatton maybe landed a jab.

Hatton somehow makes 140, and looks like a tortured Russian KGB agent in the hands of the CIA at Gitmo. Mayweather walks in throwing fake money, wearing a endangered baby seal fur coat, and is basically at his optimum weight.
                The bad guy wins. Again.

now think carefully before you answer this
I think it wouldn't make a difference to be honest, it wouldn't have mattered because Floyd beat him on the inside AND on the outside, Hatton was just outmatched. Floyd had an answer for most of what Ricky threw at him, Ricky is sluggish by nature so at times when on the ropes it looked a little better for Hatton than what it really was but Ricky just couldn't see Floyd cleanly.. thing is what Hatton does isn't infighting it's clinching and disabling you from throwing punches and THEN throwing punches of his own. he doesn't hit then hold he was holding then hitting and it may not sound like a big difference but mark my words it is, a small difference but that difference is what stops 1 from being illegal and the other from being legal..

Your not allowed to hold and hit so thats kinda a mute point, get over that loss mate Hatton was never going to win he was just not good enough.

PBF wins no matter who the ref is. Hatton needs to understand that he lost to the better guy, period.
