Paulie M is such a mediocre fighter it is unbelievable. How can you be a boxer with no power AND be very easy to hit. I thought he was very lucky not to have lost his last two fights and last night confirmed his mediocrity to me.

Hatton fought great last night he was as sharp as ever. i think the training with mayweather sr really help. hed be any 140 fighter in the division if he fights like that maybe even some welterweights. he was relentless and he never got tired.Comment

All in all i was impressed with Hatton, he used he head movement alot more, never rushed into shots, picked his shots, and slowed the fight down at his tempo.Floyd Sr had realy worked on this with him and it worked well, ok Paulie began the fight with a great left jab flicking it out and catching hatton (marking his eye) but as soon as Hatton starting fighting his fight and working his gameplan Paulie just had no answer for it and i think went into survial mode, but Paulie should of being throwing more combinations and should of carried on throwing that jab,but instead was just happy surving and trying to defend against Hattons attacks most of the rounds and was not trying to win '' the fight''. Don't know whether is should of been stopped Paulie weren't getting battered or destroyed, but Buddy did say the round before if ya don't start thorwing anything i'am throwing in the towl and Paulie just come out again and was happing surviving. At at the end of the fight he was more upset about getting stopped than he was actually losing which shows he was just trying to survive to the final bell .But hey Ricky needed this change and it paid off, now it looks like he will get the winner of Pac-Man De La Hoya, and who knows for Paulie there are some other fights at light welter for him etc Bradley, Judah, Holt Torres, but a couple of days before the fight he was talking about retirement and his has got really fragile hands so who knows.Comment
