    Floyd Snr

Floyd Snr didnt seem to have done much to Hatton IMO, Ricky looked fresh u know excited about fighting again with a new trainner but apart from that i saw very little different to be honest and his "decline" has been over blown all along anyway in my opinion! He fought and dominated Lazcana over 12 hard rounds at a pace but was stunned a couple of times Paulie dont have the power to do that - this was an easy fight to pick but Mgirt blow my bet at the bookies like a totall tosser!

Hatton looked good but guys plz dont go over hyping Floyd Snr! Im sure the twat will do enough of that himself!

after only 8 weeks of training, you can't expect a completely changed hatton, and i dont think he wanted to "change"... he wanted more weapons in his arsenal. I think we saw a little bit of improvement, in terms of slipping a few jabs and returning very quickly. he was also showing some more movement before going in, instead of just going straight in like he used to.

i think if he keeps up with Snr, he will continue to improve. Hatton will always be an inside fighter, but it's nice to see him moving and slipping more. Still a lot to improve on though.

I agree. I just think Mayweather has injected more optimism into Hatton. He has confidence that he's training with the elite now.

It'll be interesting to see once Mayweather has spent a long time with Hatton if his head movement gets a lot better. If so Hatton will be a real force against anyone.

Hatton showed Patient-aggression instead of wild/aggression like in the last fight. It appeared that he was thinking and knew what he wanted to do; he had a gameplan.

He was also using the jab a lot more and it was effective against a fighter that it is hard to land against.

Hatton said it himself that he caught himself reverting back to the old Ricky and that it will take time to be completed.

If you want to say he is going back to the way he fought prior to Tszyu, that has more leverage.

        he still needs work.

nah... hatton looked his best since tszyu... the first 4 rounds were great, but hatton started falling into his old habits, that's probably why you thought it was the same hatton... even so... hatton was a lot less sluggish than he was in teh lazcano fight.

            Are you blind or dumb.

There is so much improvement in Hatton it's not funny. He outboxed a boxer, is there any bigger statement than that. He was very patience, he used his jab, better footwork and head movement. Nice body and quick combos. Next fight will be the real end product

True. Takes time to build muscle memory and reflexes.
