    This wasn't Kirkland vs Vera, though. Hatton wasn't landing cleanly at will, or incredibly powerfully. He was just completely in control.

    The fight was horrible and from that perspective, it was a relief for it to be over, but really, if he's gone 11 rounds, you might as well let it go.

    It's like McGirt wants to show that he cares so much about the well-being of his fighter.

    Should have just let him finish the fight, IMHO. Hollow moral victory or not, that's what Paulie wanted.

      mcgirt did what he did because he was concerned for his fighter and knew paulie would go ahead and take the beating.

      paulie might fire mcgirt... i dunno if paulie will be able to afford mcgirt without his belt.
