Calzaghe Insider: "We Have No Interest in Chad Dawson"

Sounds allot like somebody we know well, huh?
Calzaghe waited until Hopkins and Jones were old & not as dangerous and then comes and challenges them.
If Calzaghe wants any respect at LHW, he will fight and beat Dawson.
There is nobody else there and this would cement his legacy.
No other way in my opinion.Comment

Dawsons last two opponents combined are age 80, and he is ONLY 26. I hate on Calzaghe but he is 37. Dawson needs to stop being a joke and rematch Johnson who beat him.Sounds allot like somebody we know well, huh?

I really don't know how that had anything to do with my post or not, but as you see there in my avatar, where it says "undisputed champion", that means I know what i'm talking about and you are speaking out of your ass. What it comes down to is Joe Calzaghe finally grew a sack and came over to the US to make a name for himself of off faded fighters who should all but be retired. He was not confident enough to try and fight Jones pre-KO losses and that will be his stamp forever, in my opinion.
In closing, sure Calzaghe would not want to fight a prime American fighter like Dawson, that would be too risky. He will fight Glenn Johnson who he avoided until he got old as well.
Your dismissed. Next time I want an apple for a schooling like that.Comment

Before you were posting that it made no sense for Calzaghe to fight Hopkins again - that he simply had an off night and would beat him easily the second time. What's changed? I'd love to see Calzaghe-Hops II or Calzaghe-Dawson. No Johnson.Last edited by IMDAZED; 11-23-2008, 10:39 AM.Comment

Calzaghe vs. Hopkins was a snoozefest. A sequel is not a mouthwatering prospect in my book.Comment
