    De La Hoya vs. Margarito?

Who do you guys think wins this and why?

Although he's going to be 36 years old, I believe Oscar can still pull off the upset and school Margarito. His jab will keep Margarito at bay, and he will be able to score with his left hook at will. Plus I deffinately don't believe Margarito has that one punch knockout ability especially to hurt Oscar. So I see Oscar taking this one by wide UD or late TKO

    Oscar on points.

He has more boxing ability, and more experience, to fall into the trap Cotto did.

De La Hoya only wants smaller men for the rest of his career.

I dont necessarily agree with the "smaller men" quote. However, I do agree with the big money fights. If Golden Boy Promotions can market a fight against Margarito well, than the fight will happen. It would be HUGE on Cinco de Mayo weekend. So I think it is deffinately a strong possibility after the Pacquiao fight. And you'd have to imagine the winner of De la Hoya/Margarito would draw Mayweather out of retirement for a big fight between the former #1 P4P fighter in the world against the current.

idk about that, i think that Mayweather and De La Hoya see what an amatuerish boxer Margarito really is, and both know they can easily cruise to a decision
