I really don't see how Hatton's pressure would be that much of a factor. He wouldn't just be able to walk through Cotto's shots. I actually think it would be a pretty ugly outclassing.

anyone who says cotto gets ko'd is a fool.even weight drained he takes this.hatton has never fought anyone who would do to him what cotto would do.play and simple.this would play out alot like the fight with urkal.only cotto would catch hatton coming.hatton would have his moments.but cotto takes this.late tko or u.d.
hatton isn't as good a puncher as torres is.his hands aren't as quick, and his arm length is no where near torres's.

That being said, he's too good a boxer, and too good a puncher for Hatton. I just don't see Hatton having any advantage other than the Cotto being weight-drained. Plus, Cotto didn't start getting really weight drained until after the Pinto fight.

Hatton's lack of defense would get him seriously hurt against Cotto. He's used to being bigger and stronger than his opponents, and it wouldn't help against Cotto.

          Cotto by KO.
          Totally agree!!!!!!!!!!!1

Not because I dont like Cotto, but because Cotto is already chinny and has been hurt.

It seemed to happen more often at 140 where he was really having to drain himself to make weight.

I say with having to drain his body, and being chinny already, that the weight would be a MAJOR factor and Hatton would win.
so what you're saying is, marga can't punch right?
cause he had to throw 987 punches to TKO him.

But Corley hurt him, torres hurt him, hell even Paulie ALMOST knocked Cotto down.

A mix of Hatton body punches, and Cotto's weight drained chin would spell a win for Hatton.

Hatton is fast, and has really good pop in his punches.

It seems that since Hatton lost to Floyd, they discredit the kind of fighter he was, that actually earned him that fight with Floyd.

hatton wins this fight at 140 especially late on in cottos career at 140.
ppl gotta remember how bad cotto was straining at to make the weight and how vulnerable his chin was when dried out. at 147 its a total blowout simply because cotto makes the transition up a division better then hatton
