I dont think Ricky beating Tackie is very relevant. I am pretty sure Matthew already knows he is no Ricky Hatton.

I disagree, I think it would be very relevant to him. Sure he is not up there on the level of his brother. But he would like to think that someday he may be (why else is he still pushing forward). So to beat a fighter that his brother fought is an indication to him that, yes, he should keep chasing the dream.
