If Calzaghe officially retires, will he displace Ottke at 168?

No, he'll inevitably be #6 I think. Unless he fights on for a few years, I don't think anyone can beat him in/around his weight class right now, and that includes Chad Dawson.

The only hope is that he keeps fighting or comes back when he is so far past his prime that someone is able to snuff him, but... I just don't think that will happen to Calzaghe. I do think he will probably join those ranks pretty soon.

A couple of other fighters might be on their way to joining that list too:

Guzman is 32 and I'm not sure he will be able to get any fights with any big names anytime soon after that **** he pulled with Campbell, and I don't think anyone who is not a big name is going to be able to beat him. He might retire undefeated, but not in a good way.

Calderon is 33 and seems to have a good grip on his weight divisions.

I think either of those two are going to be the most likely fighters to retire undefeated at this point outside of Calzaghe.

Good call, although I think he is planning on still fighting. He fought in April of this year.

I'm not sure if Harry Simon is even officially retired... I just know his dumb ass is back in jail for another two years, so I don't know why he would come back to fight.
