As his manager said then, it dont matter who asked for the rematch THEN, whats wrong with them fighting NOW? If Margarito doesnt want to defend his lost oh well. We all understand he wants Williams to move to higher weight classes so he doesnt have to worry about getting "slapped" around again.

Tony is ******. You dont sit out for a damn year waiting on a rematch. Look at whats happened to Winky Wright. Is ANYBODY licking their chops and asking when is Mayweather coming back? Out of site out of mind. NOBODY is gonna be breaking their necks to see Tony fight in 6 months. The world doesnt KNOW him and the boxing world barely does.

like I said before, it's ok if marg has something on his plate, but if he isn't doing **** like fighting shane, he might as well fight pwill. if he doesn't want to ruin his fight w/ cotto he and his fans should just say that and admit that he don't want nothing to do with pwill.

To all the Margarito fans I have a few questions:

Is it more important for Margarito to rematch Cotto, or rematch Williams?

If it came down to the purse, is Margarito entitled to a bigger split of the purse because he beat COTTO, or does Williams take the bigger share because he beat MARGARITO?

Just two simple questions. How you answer will determine how delusional of a fan you are.

I believe it is more important for him to rematch Williams and I believe Williams deserves more of the purse because he has a win over Margarito. But I want to see how many of you will justify the opposite.

if marg is a draw then he can fight bums for the rest of his career and not chase dlh or any name fighter for that matter. unfortunately this is not the case.

JCC jr. is a bigger draw than amrg. he fights bums and sells out ppvs.
