Let's hope it's for a bigger fight. Cotto rematch or PWill.

Shane used to be great, he's not anymore.

Its because if he is going to lose his title its going to be for more than what Mosley was offering. No different than the fact that Pacquaio is facing De La Hoya instead of Humberto Soto, Roach is thinking if Pac is going to lose its going to be for the most bucks. Around these parts, we call that cashing out.

You might want to check this thread by Rogelia

To every one wondering where margarito is lmao

        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just texted a friend of mine and asked him about the shane vs margarito fight. He as everyone else laughed off mosley's words of margarito is scared and hiding Margarito has been in contact with Bob Arum and was at Top Ranks Office Yesterday You clowns are idiots thinking because he doesnt' call boxingscene writers so he can open his mouth and look for attention that he's running scared. The mosley fight has been agreed to by margarito and as a matter of fact margarito feels mosley would be his easiest fight in a road to a re-match with cotto. One other thing holding it up is deciding whether to hold the fight in Vegas or Los Angeles and how the live gate would be split. Now shut the F up!

This was a thread created by rogelia....lol embarrissing!!!!!!!!!!

I guess Arum figured a fight with Mosely is too high risk. A loss to Mosely could make Cotto vs Marg II not as interesting, which would hurt PPV sales?

I'm glad margo backed out, if he fought shane now i would have lost respect for him.

                I bet it's money.... I do.

I mean Margs took short cash plenty of times, he figures he's got the cache, might as well go for the big bucks.

Floyd did the same thing... why fight margs when better **** was on the horizon only short-sighted thinkers didn't see it.

it's business and it doesn't have much to do with us hardcore fans.

                they consider the casuals too.

Except that's the thing, he won't be likely making that much more then 2 million and it's not like Mosley was that dangerous. Not to mention he passed on 4.
