I remember hearing so much about how Floyd had a 7" reach advantage over Ricky, but I hear nobody talking about the 5" advantage Paulie has. Which shows that Hatton's fans were looking for any excuse they could muster. Since they feel Ricky will beat Paulie anyway, no mention is made about the reach difference.

Personally I don't think you need to look for excuses when you lose to someone as good as PBF, you just hold your hands up and admit he's better than Hatton.

I didn't think he would be Tszyu either so in a way he was already on borrowed time for the big 0 to go.

Alot of people seem to make a big thing about tszyu being shot, but no one and i mean no one thought Tzsyu was shot after the Mitchell fight.

there really is no excuse. Joe Cortez gave fans a little bit of reason to debate that he ruined it for Hatton, but even the English fans know that regardless of the ref, Hatton would never win a rematch.

That said, I gave Hatton a really great shot at beating Floyd, but when he lost I had no excuse. Floyd is just on another planet compared to Hatton.

Prime Tszyu at JrWW takes out Floyd on Monday and then Hatton on Tuesday of the same week. Ok? Kostya in a different league in his prime. No way Hatton beats the older Tszyu, but for an almost criminally refereed fight. Hatton could have pulled out a club and used it that night.
