What has Hatton done to impress you?

    Honestly.

Wins over tszyu, Castillo, Urango, Collazo are all better than anything Torres has done.

Althought that was a good win, you have to realize Castillo was and is wayyyyyyyyyyyy past it.

Also keep in mind that he was basically fighting for peanuts, most of his purse was being withheld due to legal reasons.

I think he MIGHT of been able to get up from that body shot but there really wasnt much of an incentive.

That was a nicely placed body shot though, I'll give him that.

That doesnt necessarily mean he can take Torres' power.

The man can punch hard as hell.

I'm not comparing their resumes by the way, Hatton is leagues ahead.

I actually think more of Hatton for losing to Mayweather.

I never said he's a bum post Mayweather, IMO he was never much to begin with.

              Don't get it twisted, son.

Hatton avoided the best fighters @ 140 for years. Namely: Cotto and Zab-when they were both @ 140; Torres, Holt, Witter, Vivian Harris, Brussels, Corley, Sharmba, and soon-to-be Bradley.

Hand-picked fighters his entire career. Then he moves up to 147 and gets brutalized by a light-punching Collazo. So he moves back down and fights a very green and unskilled guy in Urango. Next, he feasts on the washed-up Castillo. The Mayweather fight was a no-lose situation. If he beats him he just beat the P4P King. If he loses, well, he lost to the best fighter on the planet outside of his "natural" weight class.

Basically, what I'm saying to all of you is that Hatton chose the path of least resistance. He never seemed too interested in facing the best guys @ 140 once he fouled his way to a win over Kostya. Hatton was all about picking up meaningless trinkets, nothing more.

What nonsense. How about Floyd not wanting to fight Ricky at 140?

How is it nonsense when he didn't fight any of those fighters? Hand-picked fighters, belie dat.

probably not, but then again i don't even know if torres can stand at all anymore after that vicious headbutt/right hand combo from holt put him to sleep....
