jones was a shooting star, hopkins is the comet!!!!!!!!!

it's not the start and it's not the middle, it's all about the end result, the end game, and at this point, hopkins has by far the better end game.....
Roy wasnt exactly a shooting star, RJJ was the best boxer in the world for over a decade, B-hop's career came to life in 2001.

if he wasn't a shooting star, then he would still be on top, and hopkins was a champion for over a decade.

and also had it not been for hopkins going to war with don king and boxing politics period, we would've seen more of hopkins on tv. don king made hopkins his pet project in keeping him off tv for as long as possible after his draw with mercado in ecuador. then, after king couldn't contain hopkins any longer, because hopkins kept winning, he went after his belt by setting up the middle weight tournament for the Sugar Ray Robinson trophy, trying to unify the all the belts, and it was king's plan to have tito win it, which tito was the favorite, and hopkins dominated the fight and won. it was then that hopkins was getting the coverage that he deserved, so it was the first time the casual boxing fan such as yourself got to start to see hopkins. because anyone who has watched boxing for the majority of their life already knew hopkins and knew that he was a quality champion and a quality fighter, long before 2001.....

and hopkins is still rocking long after 2001, roy isnt........
