Close UD for Mayweather. He would do a good job fighting defensively and countering. The first few rounds he would adapt to Shane's speed but after that he would win enough close rounds to get the decision.

Guys call out guys all the time. It means little. The real calling out is in negotations. They were in different weight classes. Mayweather was a champ for less than a year from when Mosley jumped from 135 to 147.

Mayweather still wins though. Smarter, better, more skilled.

Wow, I don't see how anyone think Shane would lose this fight. In Shane's Prime he was a beast. He had great accuracy and combo's combine with Speed and power. This is at 135 where he destroyed all his opponents. He then fought a Prime Oscar Dela Hoya and gave Dela Hoya his first true defeat.
Floyd would get hit more times then he would his whole entire career and Shane would beat him to the punch most of the time with his faster hands and power punches. He could easily match Floyd in the boxing department, Floyd would be eating his quick straight right hand over the jab. Even Shane's Overhand right was deadly fast also combine with his quick lunging left hooks he used to do in his prime. Floyd would have to be super defensive because shane in his prime when he got close to you would do serious damage to the head and body which I see him doing to Floyd. Shane was even faster than Floyd with his foot speed and hand speed and would do serious damage throughout the fight.

Shane would either take this by close UD or maybe even a TKO in his Prime.

I think a prime Mosley would have beaten a prime Mayweather, although it would be close.

Only way Shane would win is by happening to catch Floyd and end it right there.
Floyd doesn't even come close to matching Mosley in terms of speed. I don't know what would make you think that.

I would give it to Mosley at 135, 140 and 147 (although it would be much closer here). At 154, I think I would give the slight edge to Mosley even though it would be really close at this weight too. Mosley was just brilliant when he was in his prime (especially at lightweight). He beat an excellent and ready fighter in De La Hoya not once but twice. Both fighters have never lost by KO/TKO and Mosley has only lost his 5 fights via decision to only 3 fighters. Mosley is just strictly phenominal overall and his speed/power boxing would pose a huge threat to Mayweather and I don't see how Mayweather can easily counter Mosley's shots. Mosley would use his size to over power Mayweather IMO.

Although I believe Mayweather would set the pace, Mosley would pressure Mayweather (similiar to the way he pressured Cotto after 6 rounds). Also, when compared, you can look to an opponent both have faced which is De La Hoya. Mosley dominated De La Hoya much more then Mayweather did and the Mosley's first win IMO was much more important/rewarding then Mayweather's win against De La Hoya. This would be a great fight and if Mayweather were to come back, I can definitely see this fight happening but as for their primes, I would have to give it to Mosley in the three smaller divisions with a closer match at 154.

Mosley leaves himself to open and gets countered all night but loses a competitive decision. 116-112 Mayweather

Mayweather, I have it pretty easily. That righ hand over Mosley's jab is key.
