Hatton iS MORE of a pressure fighter then Cotto.
Hatton has quicker feet, better chin and more stamina. Paulie will have more trouble getting his distance against Hatton then he did Cotto. That is the difference.

quality, that is what i was going to say, pressure and distance will be the big factor. hopefully for hattons sake that he doesn't try and box from the outside, trying to implement a new plan or style. but if hatton closes the distance and keeps the fight on the inside, he should win this fight, if not, malignaggi could very well outbox hatton.

also hatton has a good body attack and if he doesn't abandon it he could use that to slow the movement of malignaggi............

i'm pulling for hatton but i'm placing cash on malignaggi in the upset......

Better chin than Cotto you're joking, right. He got rocked by Juan Lazcano and Kod by Floyd. Cotto is leagues better than Hatton and feather fisted Paulie will prove it.

based on skill and workrate I think Hatton wins a Md or UD

and the whole Floyd Mayweather Snr Factor....hatton seems to be much more polished

Yes better chin...Don't get Cotto's chin at 147 twisted with what we've seen at 140.

Cotto was rocked by hard hitting Ricardo Torres, Hatton was rocked by a light punching lightweight Juan Lazcano. I think the only thing twisted here is your judgement.

Agreed with everything but the bold. Cotto has some of the most underrated footwork/balance in the business.

Aside from that, which I don't really think will make a difference in the fight, I agree with most of what you said.

Hatton is absolutely more of a pressure fighter, and Paulie will be incapable of backing him off. Now, Cotto's problem with Paulie was, IMO, he had an identity crisis. Paulie was giving him problems, and Cotto didn't know whether to try and box or try and fight.

If Hatton, now with Floyd Sr., does the same thing I think he will lose. If Hatton is Hatton I think he will win.

Cotto also got rocked by Mayweather's left overs. You make it sound as if tough...this isn't something to debate about.

And that weight drained Cotto, would probably still ko any version of hatton.

We'll agree to disagree...but I alwayz thought that was an OBVIOUS Hatton having the quicker feet. You can say Cotto has the better footwork but not quicker feet...Hatton would most definitly close the distance better.
