Mah seriously though, he isn't over rated, he's been beat by the best, i admit hes slackin' a bit in his old age, but you can't say he's over rated because he's coming to the end of his career.

how did amir khan with only 19 fights get so famous anyway?, not to mention the opponent that ko'd him also with an undefeated record is unknown

Well, the first bit was sarcasm and the second bit was about Ricky Hatton..

Amir Khan was one of the prospects from the '04 olympics (media hype from the word go), turned pro after the olympics, started getting fights on terrestrial TV..which is why he is probably so 'famous', since the average joe saw him fight 18 fights on TV (on one of the 3 main UK channels) and since he was fighting bums, the average joe that dosen't have any boxing knowlege sees Amir Khan as someone that has beat 18 people so they assume hes the best boxer in the world..so basically hes hyped up by people with no boxing knowlege.

hatton is'nt overrated, though he is respected, dont get the two mixed up, people know he's a good fighter and what his limits are, that's why you dont see ''Hatton is the G.O.A.T!!'' threads but most people will tell you how this man aint no pushover neither
