Why we need the likes of David Haye

BBC, Sport, BBC Sport, bbc.co.uk, world, uk, international, foreign, british, online, service

Rid**** Bowe, Evander Holyfield, Hasim Rahman, Vitali Klitschko and it is rumoured Lennox Lewis... Old guys: STOP COMING OUT OF RETIREMENT!

I heard from an anonymous source that Rocky Marciano is thinking of making a comeback.

They are grown men who live in free countries.. They have every right to do what they choose... You can simply choose not to watch their fights should the idea of their comebacks upset you..

LMAO - I think you're right, boxing needs youngsters coming through in all the divisions. Saying that Haye is 28!

Lewis is way too smart to ever consider making a comeback and got out at just the right time to mantain his legacy as an all time great.

Vitali is able to still pull it off at 37 because of his style and the fact he doesnt over exert himself in fights.

The division would still be better off without him. Mind you there aren't many young men in the heavies, and by "young men" I mean guys in their mid to late 20s.

I'd rather watch young competative exciting fights than old men who are way past their best and get tired after round 2.
