    JMM vs Casamayor PPV numbers

According to Dan Rafael it did less than 10,000 buys.

Does that mean Marquez is yet to be a major draw?

Does anyone know for sure what the actual figure was??? Under 10,000 seems WAY too low a number. It just seems that having been on Mexican Independence Day weekend and him being a fairly big name, it would've done better than that...maybe 100-150K???

Maybe it's a typo, maybe he meant 100k? 10,000 just seems way too low.

That's what I'm thinking. That would make much more sense. Either way, I don't mind admitting that I contributed to the buy total. I knew it wasn't gonna be a battle of the ages, but I knew it was gonna be a world-class boxing match!

It was a very good fight from a technical standpoint, one of the better technical fights I've seen in a while.

It was a fun watch. I knew Marquez wouldn't disappoint me, but I wasn't sure if Casamayor was just gonna resort to his dirty tactics.

I give Casa credit though, he came to fight and they gave us a very good competitive match. The KO was unexpected, but very welcomed!
