Sounds like it will cost Berto too much to pass over Collazo, after he pays Don King, Collazo and the WBC off what will be left for a purse? I would fight Collazo first.

I think Berto beats Mosley, but there's little sense in taking the risk so soon. He's young, and should just focus on his mandatory. It's really a lose-lose situation for him. If he dominates Mosley, people will just say Shane 'got old overnight' which lessens the value of the win, and if Berto loses, they'll say he's 'overrated' and got 'exposed.'

I orginally had said that the Berto/Mosely fight made since if you broke it down. Given the new news of title, stripping, little, purse, and all the risk, it might not make any since for Berto to take this fight.

Berto still has maturing to do as he has said. If he thinks he can overcome Sugar and beat him, then maybe it does make since. After beating Mosley, the $ and titles will come. It all depends on where he thinks he is at professionally.
