I was more appalled by that boring ****ing bassline, over and over and over again. Hip hop beats are so one-dimensional lol

comparing rock and hiphop is like an mma/boxing argument... anything used with a guitar majority of the time will have better basslines.. go youtube the roots though...Comment

This video shows exactly why he won't stay retired. He loves the limelight too much. He won't be able to bear not being seen as No.1 P4P. And especially as he can literally name his price.Comment

I wasn't comparing rock to hip hop though. I was simply saying that the hip hop beats I've heard are all very boring, exactly the same with house music. If I hear one I like, then I'll admit it. Just like there are some **** rock beats/basslines out there.Comment

ok, but I was defending my musical preference at the same time. Hiphop sticks to one rhythm majority of the time for the flow of one's vocals. Kanye, The Roots, Rza, Dr. Dre all have good basslines in their production but doesn't compare to ur taste of music or what ur used to. Its like saying I don't watch wrestling cuz its fake...well of course it is. It should be and supposed to be. Its senseless for me to post a hiphop song with great basslines cuz its not built for that.
but u got me thinking about it and honestly.. I don't think hiphop has bass lines, period..the music USES to what fits the production.. no wonder u think hiphop bass lines are boring...i mean cuz it probably is for what it is...Last edited by RisAri0; 11-21-2008, 12:26 AM.Comment
