It matters on your definition of WAR and BORE...

will it be a BORE like dirrel vs. stevens? no.
will it be a BORE like taylor v. spinks? no.

will it be a WAR like marquez v. vasquez? no.
will it be a WAR like gatti v. ward? no.

I think this fight will be exciting for some and boring for others.

For me this is an exciting fight as we have the two best at 140 going head to head this saturday and whats going to be interesting to me is seeing how each fighter attempts to force their style of fight.

Its going to be interesting to see if paulie can keep hatton away and outbox him...

it will be interesting to see if hatton can out manuever paulie and get inside on him or trap him on the ropes to unleash his brawler style...

then again remember this is coming from the guy who found floyd v. oscar an exciting fight seeing who could push the issue...

i love the gatti v. ward type wars...

and i love to see how two different styles can mesh in a fight...who can work the better strategy...

but i hate boring fights like taylor v. spinks...that was 15 punches attempted PER ROUND and they appeared to either respect each other WAY TOO MUCH or they were afraid of each other.

this shouldnt be that kind of fight...but it wont be a slug fest either.

To me, this is a booooooooooooooore. A huuuuuge bore. Malignaggi is absolutely incapable of fighting on the inside, where he will be glad to hug with hatton. And Malignaggi isnt strong enough on the outside to have his way in a boxing match.

However, the undercard fight, Vera-Kirkland, should be a war for sure

It could be legit if these two come to fight...if they start all that huggin bull**** then this fight will fail!

There is a possibility Malignaggi could frustrate Hatton all night,only landing enough to knick the rounds
