Atleast we know he's a little dumber than boxingscribe. I thought that guy couldn't be beat with his dumb hate.

Oh I know. I ordered that PPV. I think it was Mosley-Estrada on the undercard, right?

Like I said, just always wondered why ESPN didn't do any more PPVs 'cause that was a pretty solid card.

Where do you guys think Margarito is at in his career...?

There are 4 levels to a boxer's career.

Level 1. Get a couple easy wins under your belt.
(Fight the easy fights. Burgers, chumps, etc......for experience and to build your record. no disrespect to burgers and chumps).
Level 2. Make a name for yourself
Fight other good prospects and past their prime known fighters (undefeated, 1's and 2's, etc..) to separate yourself from the rest, make a name for yourself.
        Level 3. Validate yourself
Validate your dominance over your career by winning titles and beating your peer champions.
        Level 4. Cement your legacy
Enter Club Elite. Picking and choosing, fighting the fights that mean something to your legacy and your bank account!!

I'd say Level 3. He was always talked about amongst hardcore boxing fans before about being the man at welterweight nobody wanted to fight. So now that he finally got his signature win against someone like Cotto, he's gotta capitalize on it and prove to everyone that he's the real deal.

A win against Mosley, against Cotto in a rematch and against Williams or Clottey in a rematch before the end of the year would go a very long way in proving it I think.

I think they're talking about this moment in time, right now, not in the past...you know, when Shane was in his prime. Mosley is definitely a big name fighter (one of my favorites), but obviously not a big draw.

Margarito isn't a household name by any means, but definitely a bigger draw than Mosley at this point...especially in certain markets.

I'm Mexican too by the way, no need to call us "****** ass."

Please read it and the reality of it and then say mosley is a bigger draw than margarito. Why was shane vs mayorga free on hbo and Vargas vs Mayorga did 300k ppv buys. don't 'american fans' know shane more than vargas? Didn't shane ko vargas? why was vargas able to do 300k ppv buys at the staples center against mayorga and shane fought mayorga free in a much smaller venue that wasn't even close to selling out? Why did margarito bring a record crown against a no name williams when he fought in the same venue? please if your going to avoid the reality and facts of the situation and just post your biased opinions which can be easily shot down then just save your hate and the time and relax.
