    right....he took a dive.....

he lost to hopkins, a legend, at a higher weight class....pavlik is still the man a middleweight, and can get whoever he wants from middleweight to supermiddle. he doesn't mention AA, cuz nobody in america knows who he is as of yet......

AA should've fought winky, but he knew what was up.

Good fight for King Abraham and Sturm. Pavlik has plans to take a fight before getting the right with the upper echelon and that's understandable. Abraham and Sturm continue to look impressive.

Everyone keeps talkign about The King not be able to make weight. They may be true or it is a never ending myth. No matter, when he gets in the ring he looks to destory and has done just that. He can fight the first six or seven rounds doing just enough to win and then "WHAM", nighty night goes the opponent.

Once upon a time, there was a man named the Golden Boy and he was looking for a tuneup fight. Enter Felix Sturm. Many believe Sturm did enough to win that fight but there was no way he was going to steal a win in Las Vegas, the first time he had fought on American soil. All three judges saw it 115-113 in favor of de la Hoya.

So leaves us to this potential fight, Arthur Abraham and Felix Sturm. HBO, Showtime and the like have to have their mouths watering I would imagine. If not, there is no justice. Only the ignorant would not want to see this fight. Is there other fights for both fighters, yes, but this makes the most sense right now.

This fight would be huge in germany, and it is a fight thats does interest me both number #2 and #3 of the division it would a WBA/IBF unifaction bout, would also be a interesting clash of styles with Strum's wanting to keep the fight at range with his brillant jab, and Arthur wanting to keep tight with shield cage defence and wanting to land his power shots.

              Sissycatsturm

Sissycat sturm says yes to his fans and no to Arthur Abraham. And his clown promoter is ridiculously funny. He should promote clowns of circus not boxers. Sturm is a good fit for him.

There has been a lot of trash talking by both sides in the last few weeks. [details]

Surly, you're the utmost intensive jerk of the era. You're senseless enough to encourage others to refrain from comments of nationalism and yet pointing out directly to the subject.

ya i really hope this fight gets off . . . its a great set-up for a big fight against kelly! and i really would like to see aa against dome better competition. even though sturm is a good boxer i dont think he has the power to get aa's respect and therefore i dont see him winning this. but if it goes to decision who knows cause aa is just not busy enough to rack up the points.

I hope Sturm actually takes the fight this time and doesn't price himself out. This is a fight that needs to be made.

                      Tyde13

Tyde13, pls, shake up your brains! KP as well as other boxers know who AA is and AA knows who KP is. It's you who is blunt toward reality. Moreover, you're not a boxing analyst to view important elements in boxing. Additionally, you're failing to see AA's objective in unification not in showdown. WW never challenged AA, so the claims are null and just an air talk. With your immature outlook, should consider Kmart fashion modeling! Boxing, is the wrong field of your interest.
