Bernard Hopkins last fight should be against...

Since he does not want to fight Dawson, and if he cannot get Jones or Calzaghe rematches... Move up to heavyweight and fight James Toney. This would be a great classic matchup great way to end career. He would most likely be @ 190-200 range or something similar to what Jones weighed against Ruiz. Whats you guys thoughts and opinions on if this could/should happen and turn out?

Hard to say how effective Hopkins would be with the extra weight but if he fights with the right tactics and the weight doesn't affect him badly, he wins. Toney is more over the hill than Hopkins is.

I dunno this would two of the most skilled fighters with great defense in the ring. I would like to see how Hopkins handles heavyweight power and how he prepares himself for it.

i reckon he should take a swipe at chad dawson i think hopkins has the tools to beat him he could time him well and neutralize his speed, and if their are question marks over dawsons chin then i expect bernard to tag him and maybe even hurt him.

bernard vs toney at HW would be interesting but as Silencers said toney is way over the hill, hes been taking heavy shots for alot longer and bernard would win if he comes in at the right weight, still has his conditioning etc

Hopkins v Toney? Hopkins would win on points.

He'd have no chance of stopping fatboy, but would probbly out work, and sneak most of the rounds. Would be interesting to see how much bulk B-Hop would put on if this fight came off.

Calzaghe...although a fight with toney would be interesting.......as Silencers stated weight would be a factor

Yeah I'd like to see how much faster Hopkins hand and foot speed will be over Toney, and how James adjust for that.
