He will have been less likely to gain a lot of weight this time though, because this is the most important fight of his life. I expect he'll be very well prepared.

Very good point. I also cant see him having to cut more weight then Caballero. Just wont be happening.

i have never heard that he gains a lot of weight between fights, the way i understood it is hes a gym rat. he had a lay off after he won the title but i cant see him gaining a ton of weight when hes been fighting every 3 months in the last while.

a 5'11 SuperBantamWeight? According to some ppl on this board he should be fighting at WW, JMW, or MW and must be drained to be fighting these small guys.

could very well be. I dont think his size will matter though as it is not the size of the dog in the fight, it is the size of the fight in the dog. Molitor more then anybody knows that.

It all comes down for me to: Does Molitor have enough snap in his punches to gain Cabellero's respect? If he does, he'll win on talent alone.

If he cannot gain Caballero's respect, it might be Cotto vs Margarito all over again.

I got my fingers crossed that Molitor can get it done.

this will be a very interesting fight for me. ive never seen molitor fight and ive only seen caballero school ponce de leon. CC seems like the usual slick southpaw, but he can hit.

i truly think he punches harder then his ko record suggests . . . he seems to be trying to bounce a little less and sit down on his punches more.
