Hatton: Dont boo the U.S anthem!!

I gave you green K. I understand that you guys boo eachothers anthems for soccer games and it is your culture, that's fine, it's what you do. When foreigners(granted your brits but still foreign) come here and boo our anthem in en mass, it is taken negatively by alot of people. The majority of Americans are pissed off by any action of that kind. If a fellow American pulled some **** like that at a football game or any sporting event there is a good chance they would get beer thrown on them or the **** beat out of them. Americans say the pledge of allegiance in elementary and jr. high school everyday. We are taught to not disrespect the flag. At EVERY sporting event, high school/college/professional, the anthem is played...you remove your hat, face the flag and stand. It's about respect, primarily to those who have died in wars fighting for our country. I was all Hatton until the anthem, b/c Floyd is a prick, but after that **** it didn't bother me to see Hatton lose. You can call American's over patriotic and knock these rituals all you like, but when you step on our soil and boo our customs you make alot of people like myself extremely pissed off, even though I'm sure most of you guys wouldn't act like that.Comment

I see what you're saying, but if you go to a foreign country for whatever reason and disrespect their customs you are a trashbag. If you do it on accident that's one thing, but I have a hard time believing that everyone who spent a couple of grand to go to Vegas would be ignorant enough to "not know" how disrespectful most Americans would perceive this as.Comment

I'm sure you a coward just like the masses of Hatton fans who booed. You feel empowered in a large group or behind a keyboard but if you were by yourself or in small numbers never would you act like that. In high school I'm sure you were the type of guy to act hard and talk **** when you're with your friends but punk out like a ***** in a one on one situation.Comment
What he said was 'guys dont boo the USA anthem I will get ****en knocked out'agreed, it will make little difference. most of the 'hatton fans' are just football hooligans in a new sport. not only will they not read this (wherever it gets printed, presumably The Sun) but they wouldnt listen if they did. And the build up stuff on uk tv is making paulie out to be a right c(nt, the british hate arrogance and will show it (albeit in a totally disrespectful, unneccessary way)Comment
