Very well put abos. In reality it doesn't matter who the fighters are. What you just posted is the reality of NSB and probably any boxing forums. People are fans and will defend their fighter till hell freezes over.

The hypocrisy of some of the fans on this site is confounding. But a year ago, you had Mayweather, the coward ducking ***** who was only in it for the money and was afraid to fight anyone who was a threat and Margarito, the Mexican badass who would fight anyone, anywhere and didn’t care about the money.

The Margarito fans constantly called Mayweather and his fans ******* and what not.

The Mayweather fans defended Floyd to no end and call Margarito nobodies who didn’t bring enough to the table to be worthy of a fight and that he was overrated.

Fast-forward 1 year, Margarito has a WW belt, which he won in impressive fashion, beating down the highly regarded Miguel Cotto. Floyd is retired

The hypocrisy shows on both sides. Now the Margarito fans are justifying the fact that Margarito has more weight to throw around on the negotiation table and defending the fact that he has ducked a career high payday, the same thing they accused Mayweather of doing, calling him a ***** and a greedy coward.

On the other hand, we now have Mayweather fans calling Margarito a ***** and a coward for ducking a career high payday and caring about money when that is the precise action they defended when it was Floyd.

What the ****? I find it hilarious how the arguments are all the same but the tables have turned. I never would have imagined this scenario....

Obviously, this doesn't apply to all of the posters.
