"Why do you think there are so many Mexicans in California? They've always lived there."
Mexican-Americans came to the US from Mexico, or their parents or grandparents did. Plus there are millions of illegal immigrants living in the US who came from Mexico.
This is why they're called Mexican-Americans. Otherwise they'd be called Native Americans or whatever. There aren't many of those people left thoughComment

I wouldn't say he's greedy, I think he's just trying to make some money before his career is over. He's in a great position to negotiate for big fights after the Cotto victory and a loss would ruin all that he's worked hard for.I think Tony's getting a little too much hate for this. He's just gettin greedy he isn't all of a sudden a *****. I personally think it's a ****** career move for him to pass on this fight. Mosley, especially potentially stopping Mosley, would be great on his resume. Unless he fights PWill, he can't get a better fight before the Cotto rematch. ******, ****** move, but I'm not going to start calling him a dodger or a fake mexican. He just needs to smarten the **** up and be brought back down to earth.
The way I look at it, he's 30 years old and has been fighting professionally since 1994. That's about half of his life. Fighters with his style aren't supposed to be around after 14 years of boxing but he is still. He knows the score knows his time to make a lot of money is limited.
Hence, why we aren't likely to see a clash with Paul Williams in the near future. If that fight happens, it'll be after his run as a champ in the division ends, after which the fight wouldn't mean anything anyways.
Does that meet the image of your traditional "warrior"? No, it doesn't. It does meet the image of the modern boxer/businessman.Comment
