Both of those fight were on PPV..so they got rev from the PPV's as well.

Find that out before you start critizing Margarito. 2 mil on HBO not PPV..Im sure is less then what both of those other two made.

Also..1.5 mil plus PPV rev is more then 2mil. IM PRETTY SURE!

im not to sure what they made but in do know it was more than 2 mil, if i was margs i would have wanted more money too but would have took the fight just to stay busy and get another big name checked off the hit list

You have to factor in the economy my man right now people are losing their jobs and PPV buys are down. the whole country is in economic ression my man. So 2 million for a fight with a non title holder on reguliar HBO seems pretty good when there aint no one else out there offereing you that money. he will wait hold on and fight some bum for chump change. Then the fight against Mosley will look real good. Especially if he takes some no name for a fight and they give him a good fight.....Lefty

Seems Mosley/Cotto generated about 20 mil.
and Shane/Vargas was about the same for their first fight and 17.5 mil for their second.

Mosley's cut - 4 million Vargas - 3 million

Cotto's cut - 5.2 million Mosley - 3 million
