Robin Reid was a vastly underrated fighter. Maybe because he didn't shout his mouth off like half the punks today.

Olympic bronze medalist. WBC belt holder. Solid technician. Crisp combinations, solid defense and rock solid chin. Lost to Malinga fighting at his very best. Robbed by the judges (surprise surprise) against Ottke.

No way was Reid some third-rate stepping stone. The guy was tough.

That kd was legit. He also had Jermain on his heels one other time in the fight. That's about it. Lacy was dominated. He cant throw his left hook anymore. You cant be a 1-2 fighter when your nickname is Left Hook ffs.

Lacy has been hit in the head too many times if he thinks turning the volume down is going to make the fact that he was getting his ass kicked go away. You don't need sound to see that Taylor was hitting him at will and landed 3x as many punches, the majority flush and hard.

Hell, Lacy is kidding himself to even think he is a league above Allan Green and that Green needs to prove himself before fighting him. Welcome to gatekeeper status, Jeff, now you ARE the proving grounds.

Thats what I started thinking.. then I said NO... lacy is his 4th best win... Kessler is a 3rd... Then the Hopkins..who arguably won.. and Roy jones who got dat @$$ whooped because he's just not in shape for him to fight his natural RJJ style anymore..

Byron Mitchell was probably a better fighter than Lacy too. It's only obvious now that you look back at it. He struggled with Vanderpool and Sheika. Should of known at the time.

Robin Reid, in his prime, would probably be ahead of Kessler in the SMW rankings now. World class.

The Robin Reid that fought Lacy and latterly Froch was a shell of his former self - he barely trained, wasn't motivated and hadn't really fought in years.

Oh, and Calzaghe clearly beat him. Close but decisive. The brain fart of one judge doesn't affect that. Should have been a rematch though. Mind you, if Calzaghe could beat him with a broken hand for 10 rounds ...

How exactly did he shut Taylor down?

"You see the thing is, I know Jermain wanted to come in and win every single round. But I didn't let him do that, you know. I did my thing you know, instead of letting him do his, and the result was I shut him down - he only won 11 rounds instead of 12. What now, sucka?"
