Margarito turns down Mosley - GOOD!

Margarito does the only smart thing when refusing to accept the lesser purse against Mosley. Some say that Margarito hasn't complained about the split, just the money offered, but there's no doubt in my mind that the split offered is insulting to Margarito.

Mosley is a no-contender, having proved nothing over the last few years, barely defeating Mayorga in his last fight. Mosley was never a draw by himself either. The only thing he offers right now is his name, though some seems to believe that should be enough to be on the receiving end of an unfair purse.

It's a total lack of respect for the true champion, and I expect Margarito, and every other champion, to play it smart and walk away from such a disgraceful offer.

You can't sell a fight worth a **** and your top pay day was under 2 million so how can you A)turn down a rematch to a fight you lost for 4 million and B) turn down a fight for 2 million which would still be more than you ever made. The offer was actually from HBO to both Top rank and Golden boy for a Margarito/Mosley fight, So why Mosley was happy with the cut he would receive from golden boy who promotes him margarito doesnt seem to be happy with his own cut that he would recieve from Top rank (Arum).

Arum has said before that the HBO offer on the table is a great offer so am pretty sure rito and arum needs to iron the monies out.

He got the linear champion to WW crown a Title and 8 million fighting Baldomir. That offer was made by Arum when Mayweather was suing him for unpaid money
