Remember Oscar at 140? What a FN beast!

Remeber when he fought Chavez at 140lbs? He looked so dominant at that weight. In a recent interview, he was quoted as saying he could possibly make 140lbs for his next fight after Pacquiao.

If he beats Pacquiao at 147lbs in impressive fashion and is capable of going down to 140lbs again, who would you like to see him face??? He looks very trim and says he's already made 145lbs. Can Oscar turn back the clock and perform the way he did against Chavez in the first fight. He was completely dominant in the lower weight classes.

What interesting fights can be made today at 140lbs for Oscar?

A rematch with Manny, Ricky Hatton, Andre Berto, Paulie Malignagi???

He was dominant mainly because of his size, he was much bigger than most of the guys at 140, I doubt he can make 140 now, I'm still skeptical about him making 147 for Pacquiao, I won't believe it until I hear it announced at the weigh in.

Yeah, I remember both of his fights there. Wow.

All kidding aside, if he stays at 40 he probably chases the best of all-time in the class. To his credit he went to 47 and faced the best of a better crop with mixed success.

^^^ That's true too, DLH only had 3 fights at 140. Miguel Angel Gonzalez managed to give DLH some trouble there.

Forget about it. DLH lies about his weight as often as strippers claim they are in college.

He wouldn't make 140 at this stage without developing a crystal meth addicition.

MAGO gave him some trouble and messed up his eye, but DLH was really sharp for most of the bout. His jab was really on point, and he landed some very good left hands as well. Either DLH was tired or his eye was bothering him, so he was mostly on the retreat late in the fight (a la the Tito fight), but came on strong in the 12th, unlike the bout with Trinidad.

MAGO was tough. He took a lot of shots versus DLH and especially Tszyu and stayed on his feet both times.

Yeah, DLH won that fight clearly but that was the first time anyone managed to mark him up. Gonzalez was a good fighter in his prime.
