Nobody knows what truly happened. **** can change at the drop of the hat. Margarito could have just wanted more money. He sounded like he wanted to make Top Rank and DLH Promotions sweat for a week, then went in to negotiate for more money. When he failed to get more money, he backed out.

Rogelio may have given us what was very reliable information just a few hours earlier. Sometimes it can all change very quickly.

It was not a smart business move, but people do strange stuff for strange reasons. He does not strike me as being afraid of Mosley. Mosley is simply not what he used to be.

I think it may be more of the Diva Syndrome. He simply wants to 5 Million+ paydays that Cotto got and is playing the role of tough negotiator. I guess he does not realize that the economy is down the crapper, the fight with Mosley is not a superfight and 2 Million is a damn good payday.

So many fighters get this diva syndrome and it pisses me off. They get spoiled and end up wrecking their own career's. Winky are you listening?

We all need to remember what Cotto did just before the Margarito fight. Cotto took a very long time to sign. He played tough negotiator and nobody knew if he was going to sign the fight or not. After a lot of concessions and more money offered, the fight got signed.

Maybe Bob just did not have the funding to offer Margarito more money.
