America is going into a depression. Every business is losing money and people are surprised about low PPV numbers?

This just shows many things, one with all that "he's from youngstown crap", Pavlik still cant sell PPV as his numbers against Taylor were weak too. 2, Bernard once again cant draw, niether can Calzaghe , who's ppv numbers against Hopkins and who's rating against Kessler were also low. 3. Trinidad was the reason why Jones-Trinidad sold 500k ppv's.

Blacks and white american you guys gotta step up the support, Trinidad was washed up and he still has Puerto Rico supporting him, just like Manny and the pinoys.

Also, if ppv's are gonna bomb, why would guys like Sturm and the Klitchkos even bother coming to America if there is more money to be made overseas?
has nothing to do with black and white americans and probably everything to do with a bad economy.

Horrible economy, highest rate of unemployment in like 25 years, worst time since the great depression? Gee, wonder if this has anything to do with it. I still, regardless of how the economy is, wish they would just network the fights. Especially in these times.

I think we have all had enough of it. I am one of the very few people that probably bought both PPVs and I wont be buying any in the near future. ****ty undercards doesn't help either.
The oil bigwigs realized 4.50 was TOO HIGH for the consumer, so they lowered to price, I now pay 2.40. WHY CANT BOXING FOLLOW SUIT.....SUPPLY AND DEMAND at it's finest....

I think theres alot more people then anyone realizes who just wait until the next day and burn it up onto a disc from the internet and watch it. my friends and i have had that routine for years now. 50$ is unreasonable for one fight

Agree. Fans have the power to dictate how much a fighter is going to get, just like the rest of the entertainers.

If you want them to lower their prices, stop watching them.

The Fans decide who gets paid what.

Imagine if they had Roy jones vs Calzaghe, and Pavlik vs Hopkins on the same night for $50....
It would sell like crazy, why doesnt boxing do more of this????
It doesnt make sense!!! No wonder UFC is selling, they do a better job of stacking there cards.
