Paulie sum'd up UK talent perfectly

If Paulie wins, Ricky Hatton will be "shot" as if he isn't faded already. No way Malignaggi will EVER get credit if he beats Hatton. Only way would be for Hatton to beat Mayweather in a rematch.Comment

If Hatton isn't in his prime, neither is Paulie. Hatton was taken apart by Floyd and Cotto battered Paulie for 12. Paulie has brittle hands that caused him to take long layoffs and he breaks them in almost every fight. Hatton drinks. It equals out.In my opinion if Paulie beats Hatton like I think he will then he will get a little credit. This is not a prime Hatton, so I don't think people should give Paulie too much praise if he wins.
And Paulie only has bad hands. If his hands don't break during the fight, they aren't a problem.
What are the signs Hatton is not in his prime to you?Last edited by Benny Leonard; 11-18-2008, 09:11 PM.Comment

I'm sure Paulie will get the credit he deserves.
I've recently read that he said he love the fact that he is the underdog & everyone wants to see him lose. Including De La Hoya, so that he can win his overmatched fight with Pacman & go on to fight Hatton in an all Golden Boy promoted fight.
I hate De La Hoya with a passion, regardless of this situation. I would love to see Paulie stomp his ass out next. That sissy sounding **** should stick to being behind a desk & monopolizing boxing.
Oscar De La Hoya is a like a turd that won't flush down the toilet.Comment

He's referring to Naseem Hamed. A notable persian (i think) flashy boxer from the UK who has been retired for some years now.
He is also incorrect. Paulie has stated many times that his idol was Arturo Gatti. He says he admires Hamed's showmanship in the ring.Comment
