I agree, Paulie is #1 ranked light welterweight according to The Ring itself and so should be considered a good win for Ricky!

Raskin is trying to discredit the win before it happens - he and some other Ring writers such as Goldman and Dettloff always discredit European fighters.

The man as wrote pretty much what people have been saying about Ricky since the Floyd fight. Nothin new in that at all and for Colin Hart to come along ans aay stuff, well he is an idiot. Surely he is respected but when an up and comer in the UK breaks out he seems to be jealous of them imo.

People still remember Paulie getting battered by Cotto; at least I do.

          Two things:

          1. So much for The Ring being biased for Golden Boy fighters.

          2. Erik Raskin is never really a good writer to begin with.

Opinions are like *******s. Everyone has one. But that's not the problem with the article. I like Detloff's articles because they are worth reading. About two thirds of th way down the page on this one I found my eyes hurting. It just wasn't fun to read.

Who should Haton have fought instead of Tszyu and Floyd? Wladimir Klitschko?

Hatton has 20" arms and he's 5'6" - that's small even for light welterweight.

                    calzaghe is ****e.

                    ricky is a fighter.

ricky is talking about delahoya, pacquiao or a floyd rematch.

who is joe talking about fighting? archie moore?

What do you mean by that? Who do you think he should have fought!? Surely by anyones' book Paulie and Ricky are the 2 top LW.
