Chris makes a trillion defenses against no named overmatched opponents, and while he did good against Marquez, I felt Marquez won and would beat him in a rematch thats never going to happen

So John is either going to defend against a 37-year-old Morales, who is ranked 84th by boxrec, or Torres, who has a frickin' 10-5 record and has been kayoed in three of his 15 fights. Nice opposition for the world's so-called top featherweight. Once again John crawls under a rock to find an opponent. What a turd

Ryno above has probably seen John fight live and he can probably attest to the fact that John is a very quick skilled fighter.

The way I see it, despite his undefeated resume and WBA strap, he's not really a name here, and I don't know how much interest there would be in him fighting unless someone with a name like Rocky Juarez fought him to generate some money.
Ideally him or someone like Luevano would fight him because Gamboa and Linares bailed out of the division but he just seems like a big risk no reward type fight for anyone. I am sure he generates good money in Indonesia but not really here or in Mex.
I could be wrong, but that seems to be one of the better explanations of why this hasn't happened sooner.
I mean right or wrong, and it was a close fight, look what happened to JMM.
And JMM made a whopping 30k for his efforts in that fight.

I sincerely hope John fights in Mex or the USA or hell even the UK, and takes on quality opposition here. He did beat Enoki in Japan and that guy was pretty well rated.
I have stories before about him coming to Mexico, I believe it was last year but those fights didn't pan out so I won't hold my breath on it, and just expect that his next title defense will be in Japan or Jakarta.

CJ will be the best featherweight of all time

Just like Calzaghe, doubt by many boxing observer.
See know, he beat all the US Legend and Still Undefeated.

Time will tell for CJ. He will beat Pacman, if the fight is going to happen after CJ become the undisputed featherweight.

Today contender who consider can beat CJ is Yuriarkis Gamboa. I cant hardly wait to see this fight.
