Fighthype reports that Anderson Silva has just joined up with Freddie Roach and will be training with him for an upcoming bout in Febuary. Manny Pacquaio will be assisting until his match with DLH next month, it is uknown if he'll hang around after.

UFC middleweight champion and arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet Anderson Silva began training today with world-class trainer Freddie Roach.

"He came in a couple of days ago and i introduced him to Manny (Pacquiao) and the other trainers. We picked out a time and tonight he's gonna come in at 6:00 and start training with me." stated Roach

"I hear he's a great striker and i hope we can help him improve even more," he continued.

Damn.

Calling out a washed up guy like a biyaaatch!! He would not last long in boxing. MMA is for bums who are not good enough for boxing. I don't know if this is true or if he just popped in for sparring. IMO boxers and boxing trainers should be banned from helping these bums out. MMA is undignified and is full of bums and rednecks. These MMA threads should be banned fom here too. WHy post in NSB when you have your own quarantine section? Their heavyweight champ is a fake wrestler!!! Silva P4P hardest guy in world my arse. Everyone knows that it is still Mayweather.

You really need therapy if you think Silva can ever compete with DLH in a boxing match. Your UFC nuthugging is out of control.

Reality Check: I've seen Silva box. It is NOT impressive. AT ALL.

Yes, we should stop everyone from improving their game because they were raised on a different combat sport and want to take what they learned and use it to make they're skill set better.

I thought it would be cool to post this up here because it involved Mr. Roach. I also thought posting this would show that there is a movement in looking toward boxing to help improve standup. No one's looking to beat any WBC champ. Just making jabs and hooks more accurate and crisp.

Now I haven't bad mouthed boxing at all, but you seem to feel better just by badmouthing elite martial artist by constantly calling them "bums and rednecks". You also seem to want to apply a bullshido mentality to your own sport, which in part is why boxing is stagnate in the US.

I think it's safe to say that unless you learn a little bit more about MMA, your comments in this or any other kind of thread really make you irrelevent to any subject. So continue on your empty headed rambling because it's not going to make you look any smarter.
