Will Manny Vs Odl Help Boxing?

Most normal fans just want action they don't know anything about size. If there is alot of action and odl ko's manny will it help the sport and people may start watching it again?

Depends on how good the fight is.

This will definitely help Pacquiao win or lose though, as long as he puts on a good fight.

One fight won't help or so called "save Boxing". The things that will help is better marketing, promotion, less PPV's,getting rid of the senior circuit and better overall cards on those PPV's. Unless Boxing can fix a few of those problems it will remain a "niche" sport that will always be told it is dying. And if they don't fix the above problems 5 years from now another fight will be tabed "the fight to save boxing".

the fight's bringing in alotta controversy, and with controversy comes interest from the people.. it'll draw alotta attention to not so big boxing fans that know who delahoya is and whatnot, and i think thats one of the primary reasons why alotta people will be watching (including those that are "boycotting" the fight that post here.. you know who you are.). i think it'll be an exciting fight, and alotta outsiders will think so too.. i dont necesarilly think this fight alone will "save boxing", but i think it'll spark more interest towards those that dont follow the sport regularly.

I'm hoping for a draw then pac gets killed by floyd. But if it is exciting it will help boxing for the short term
