CompuBox Analysis: Ricky Hatton vs. Paulie Malignaggi

If that is truly all you saw when watching those fights then maybe you might be the one who needs to watch them again. I saw Hatton work well on the inside, stopping his opponent from working while getting his own shots in. I'm not saying he didn't hold at times but you are saying that is all he did, which is frankly, bollocks.Comment

the majority of ricky hatton fights I've seen at least half the round is spent in clinches.Comment

i think he holds and fights on the inside too give himself the advantage since his arms are short and he is not the best pure boxerComment

A lot of the time he makes his opponent hold because they know when he gets inside he'll be teeing off. But yes, from the outside he's limited by his reach and lack of a decent straight right.
I think Hatton is there for the taking but I'm not sure Malignaggi, the easiest to hit 'slick boxer' I've seen, will be the one to do it.Comment

A little bit out of the topic here, but that video is like Mr. Gay interviewing Mr. ***ot ,really disturbing way they both move their hands like ****sexuals.
If I am Hatton on Saturday I would knock this guy out asap, so to not fight a bloody war for 12 rounds and get this guys blood all over me...
Boxing isnt a game for gays, hence this ***ot's lame punches and few ko's.
I dont like hattons fight style but cant take gays either, so on this one I prefer hatton to win.Last edited by BIGPOPPAPUMP; 11-18-2008, 09:54 AM.Comment

I think his opponents are as guilty of holding as he is.If they didnt then they would be eating leather all night from one of the best pressure fighters in the businessComment
