Check out the slashing body shot Haye puts on Mormeck just before the TKO.

That punch would hurt ANYONE, regardless of size or weight.

That was Prime Barrett...he actually had a good chin back in the day....Wlad dropped him 5 times and knocked him out in 7.

Barrett is shot now and has a weak chin....he's taken a lot of beatings in his career and he just can't take a punch anymore....Cliff Couser KO'd shot Barrett in 2 rounds last year.

David Haye is P4P the hardest puncher in the sport today. His KO ratio is second to none!

nah... it took wlad FOREVER to KO barrett because Wlad's a little nancy boy... that or because Barrett brought the fight to Haye instead of running from him like he did Wlad.

I said this immediaely after the fight. Haye would be nuts to go after Vitali. HIs power can definatley trouble Wlad bigtime and he could potentially make that fight into a one-on-one shootout in which he would have a reasonable chance. Vitali on the other hand is tough as nails - I don't think this fight would be overly competitive.

No, they really don't, not when you are as vulnerable as David is.

Bottom line, if the fight goes 8 rounds or more against either Klit it is over for Haye - he has no chance. Vitali is too tough for Haye to take out early - Vitalit would weather the early storm then come back to stop Haye in the mid to late rounds. Either than or Vitali catches Haye early and it is an early KO for Klit.

Wlad, on the other hand, is vulnerable - making him a better match up for Haye. David has a really good chance of getting in there and landing bombs early and taking Wlad out. But again, the longer the fight goes the better it is for Wladimir.

Basically, I hope Haye fights Wlad and not Vitali, because a Wlad matchup would be exciting and competitive whilst I just don't think Haye would stand much of a chance against Vitali.

But it proves that Vitali can be hurt regardless of outcome

Totally agree with everything there, I've been saying Davids mad to want to take on Vitali first. Even Wlad admits his big brother is the better of the two. Haye's still in his twenties, his rushing may well become his un doing, infact it probably will.

I give him a good shot againt Wlad, but Vitali is just too clever and tough for Haye. Vitali wouldn't even need to move much with Haye eagerly coming in, leaning forwards, always infront of him. So whilst Vitalis conserving energy and countering with the jab, Hayes getting impatient and eagerly throwing big shots.

So yer, if it goes past 5 I'd give Haye little shot unless he adapts big time. That's something I'm not sure he can do, at least enough. Plus I think he needs to be 220+ versus Wlad, let alone Vitali.

I don't think so. VK not only has a thick beard but some punches might lose power reachin all the way up to his chin. I don't see Haye hurtin VK if they fight.
