I dont know...when i watched the fight live on the stream i thought he looked bad, i saw a sloppy fight and him not being dominant as he should have been. But after watching it a second time in better quality i have to say Taylor looked quite good. He was ring rusty as he acknowledged after the final bell, but placed good combinations through the fight. Not only that, he had a great footwork allowing him to neutralize Lacy's right hand much the way Hopkins did with Pavlik. He had Jeff hurt soon but looked like he didnt want to knock his friend out there, then after he slipped down (tho a punch were there from Lacy, even if that looked ineffective) he tried harder, from time to time, to knock Jeff out. Lacy from his side he fought with not very good technique, but with big heart, he tried until the end to place his big shot, but never happened. He had his moments but too little. All in all a good performance by Jermaine who fought for the first time at super middle. Watching fights on Slopcast can make you miss the fastest actions...as i saw later.Comment

no im talking about the waist area..he looked soft in the middle..maybe it was just the move in weight..and i was mostly reffering to his performanceComment

He looked fine to me and the sloppiness can be attributed to ring rust, he seemed to find his rhythm by the 3rd round but then his stamina issues popped up again by the 6th or 7th.Comment

I thought the same at first...but then realized he wanted either look good and either stay in the ring for longer than 3 rounds. I think hes working a lot on his footwork, to become more crafty than his previous version. Him being there stationary and willing to exchange cost him 2 fights against Pavlik and he dont want that anymore, hes learning how to move to the sides going backward and giving angles and mantaining the right distance, hes preparing himself for better opposition.Comment
