Personally I thought that was the worst I've seen Haye in his last few fights. Got caught far too much for my liking, should have had a knockdown counted against him at least once and really seemed to be grimacing and struggling with the weight of Barrett a few times.

He's easily already a Top 10 HW, possibly Top 5, but I have more concerns now than I did before Saturday. Mind you, even as I read back what I've just typed, I can see it looks a slightly strange to see me criticising a 5 round destruction of a fringe world level challenger.

Not that I think he can't beat either Klitschko though. I don't think it'll take much to KO Wlad and Vitali's not going to be at his best.

Haye looked like he was jumping all over the place. He didn't have any balance whatsoever, his timing was off, and he didn't go to the body , just head hunting.
It's like he was too scared to be fighting up close.

Haye's timing looked fine to me his only real problem during the fight was his balance, he did throw some body punches.

Haye did look a bit ragged at times. I put this down to him wanting to put on a show not just for those who think he's out of his depth at this weight but the average Joe on the street as well (despite his success at CW, he's still under the public's radar sweep in Britain).

I think it was a pretty promising show. His power is murderous and that handspeed will cause havoc at HW

            A breath of fresh air.

He will beat Wlad one way or another. Wlad has his weaknesses but Vitali. Although I want Haye to win I think he's too tall and thus far in his career unstoppable.
