    Calzaghe-Johnson

Dan Rafael says the fight has to happen. Although I hate that fat idiot he makes some good points in his blog. Calzaghe pulled out of a fight with Johnson three times. Johnson brutally knocked out a Roy Jones Jr. who was gamer than the Jones Calzaghe faced and Calzaghe only managed to get a wide decision. For Calzaghe nuthuggers that defend their fighter by saying Dawson hasn't been proven, that case cannot be made for Glen Johnson who has been in many battles and was fighter of the year in 2004. And in my eyes Johnson beat Dawson 6 rounds to 5 with one round even in their fight in April. Power and determination vs. speed and intelligence. Good fight.

Two times (apparently due to injury). Johnson was lined up to fight Calzaghe after he beat Clinton Woods, but Johnson lost to Woods and so Johnson vs. Calzaghe was written off. Calzaghe publicly supported Johnson before the Woods fight and actually seemed like he was looking forward to fighting Glen.

It doesn't have to happen, a Dawson fight makes more sense right now anyways, he gets to beat the man who beat Johnson.

According to Dan Rafael of Espn and Glen Johnson it was three times. Two hand injuries and a back injury.

They're wrong. Johnson pulled out once, Calzaghe twice.

It would have been fun. Glencoffe doesn't have a chance of course - absolutely tailor made for Calzaghe. Let's not fool ourselves - this is still the man that lost to Clinton Woods twice and even dropped a rare fair decision to Ottke.

Doesn't have a chance now or then?

A style that might cause Calzaghe problems is a person that can keep up with the punch-out-put of Calzaghe. Remember Tarver vs. Johnson; that was some fight.

Calzaghe's defense isn't exactly "great"; it's his offense that works like the blades on a Lawn-mower: when you turn the engine on, it starts chopping non-stop. But, what happens to a Lawn-mower when you stick something hard enough in-between those blades? It goes down.
