When did Jones retire

Im sure this was asked but for the past week i was really busy and haven't red anything on Boxing. I saw his fight with Joe did he retire that night?

Well I think stylistically Joe was a bad match up for Roy. Roy had to work very hard to beat Anthony Hanshaw, who is a pressure fighter. Calzaghe is Hanshaw times 5.

Roy should retire. But if he wants to fight on, we can't stop him. I hope he fights a farewell match for his fans down in pensacola florida. I'd always pay to see Roy fight no matter what...

On any given night anyone can get knocked out. You could probably make an arguement about maybe Roy doesn't fair well against lanky southpaws. But one thing I can say is Joe couldn't knock him out.
