The one thing that stood out to me was the lack of accuracy in Taylor's punches. I expected as much from Lacy but Taylor was missing a lot and unnecessarily it seemed.

Yeah, that must have been a bad situation for both. In order to get back on the road to glory, you have to beat up your friend, former roommate, and teammate. During the fight, Jim told a story of at the press conference, Taylor and Lacy did the usual fighter stare-down, but couldn't hold the stare for long and they both started to bust up laughing. Real testament to how close they must be.

I hope Lacy recovers from this, he's not a bad fighter by any means, it's just that Taylor is too damn good.

Nah, after the interview with Taylor they just cut right back to Jim and Manny.

On a scale of 1-10 tonight, Taylor was at least a 9. He used his jab to control the fight, hurt Lacy at least twice, threw combos like no tomorrow, and fought a very smart fight. If he keeps that up, he will undoubtedly become the #1 man in the super middleweight division and maybe earn himself a spot in the pound for pound rankings again. Bad Intentions is definitely back.

Are you serious? Did you look at the punch totals? Taylor landed close to half of his punches, and like 57% of power punches. How much more accurate does a boxer need to be?

I really dont want to take anything away from Taylor he fought a hard and skilled fight, but he looked great against a fighter that it was easy for him to look great against, Lacy's defense was non-existant.
